The Progresiv Awards 2018 competition has announced the winners of the Progresiv Awards Gala held at the Sinaia Casino, on the evening of March 15th, bringing together over 450 retail & FMCG professionals. The only company to take home three trophies was Mega Image, which won the most votes in Best International Retailer, Best New Store with the Mega Apetit concept, and the Best CSR Project trophy. Coca-Cola HBC won, for the second consecutive year, the trophy for the ”Best FMCG Supplier” category, while Annabella was named ”Best Local Retailer”.
The unpasteurized Timisoreana Beer, a product of Ursus Breweries, was the winner of the Best New Food Product category, and Gerovital Plant Deodorants (Farmec) have been declared ”Best New Non-Food Product”.
In the ”Best In-Store Project” category, the most voted nominee was Staropramen Piano Bar by Bergenbier. While Interbrands Marketing & Distribution has won the Best Distribution Company award.
After a close race in the ”Outstanding Leadership” category, the winners of the Progresiv Awards trophy were Irina Mandoiu, Albalact's Deputy Managing Director and Vasileios Stavrou, Mega Image's CEO.
