2020 EDITION
Progresiv Awards 2020, the benchmark competition for retail&FMCG, has set its winners. Mega Image, Heineken, and Sergiana received two Progresiv Awards trophies each. As such, Mega Image was named “Best International Retailer” for the fifth year running, and also took home the award for „Best Retail Tech Innovation” with Supermarketul Inteligent.
Heineken won the awards for „Best Shopper Activation” with Zero Zone and „Best New Beverage” for the Strongbow Rose Apple cider. As for Sergiana, the company received the „Best Independent Retailer – Transilvania” trophy, and also the one for „Best Vertically Integrated Business”, a brand new category.
In the Muntenia region, the Progresiv Awards prize went to Annabella, while Paco Supermarkets won the most points in Moldova.
The „Best FMCG Supplier” again went to Coca-Cola HBC, while Farmec brought home the prize „Best New Non-Food Product” for Fiolele Gerovital Men. The trophy for „Best New Food Product” went to Agricola, with Cocoșelul de Pădure earning the highest number of points from retailers.
The trophy for Best CSR Campaign was awarded to Unilever South Central Europe for its project „Domestos susține igiena în școli.” Kaufland won at „Best Sustainability Initiative” for „Consumul excesiv de pungi dăunează grav comunității.”
After a fierce battle at the „Best Manager of the Year” category, the trophy was awarded to Raul Ciurtin, owner of Prefera.
